Chardham of Uttarakhand is one of the holiest Hindu Pilgrimages in India. Chardham includes two Shakti (goddess) sites, (Yamunotri and Gangotri), one Shaiva site (Kedarnath), and one Vaishnava site (Badrinath). These pilgrimage centers draw the maximum numbers of pilgrims each year, thus becoming the most important hubs of religious travel in the whole of Northern India. Settled in the lap of Himalayas, these shrines are said to be the source of salvation from sins and the cycle of life. Haridwar, Rishikesh, Dehradun cities are the entry door of these pilgrimages. According to religious recognition, Chardham Yatra starts from Haridwar and Rishikesh. According to these Char Dham Yatra recognition, gone from west to east side Yamunotri to Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath.
GANGOTRI – Gangotri is the spiritual source of India’s holiest river Ganga. Here Ganga is known as Bhagirathi. Gangotri Dham located at the height of 3,100 meters (approx.) on the Himalayan range in Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. According to Hindu mythology, Gangotri is the place where river Ganga descended from heaven when Lord Shiva released the mighty river from his luscious locks. From the folds of mythology till the present time, Ganga River has always been a sacred source of purity for mankind. Come to Gangotri for a religious tour is a religious duty and spiritual calling.
YAMUNOTRI – Yamunotri Temple, the source of the river Yamuna, is situated in the western region of Garhwal Himalayas at an altitude of 3,235 meters (10,614 ft) near the river source. The chief attraction at Yamunotri is the temple devoted to the Goddess Yamuna and the holy thermal springs at Janki Chatti. Close to the temple is hot water springs gushing out from the mountain cavities? Surya Kund is the most important kund. Near the Surya Kund, there is a shila called Divya Shila, which is worshipped before puja is offered to the deity. Devotees prepare rice and potatoes, tied in a muslin cloth, to offer at the shrine by dipping them in these hot water springs. Rice so cooked is taken back home as prasadam.
BADRINATH – Badrinath Dham is one of the oldest pilgrim destinations in the history of Hinduism in India. Located in the town of Badrinath in Uttarakhand, this temple forms one of the Chardham pilgrim sites and one of the 108 Divyadeshas (holy shrines for Vaishnavites) and is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the protector of the Hindu triad. It is situated between the Nar and Narayan peaks on the banks of Alaknanda. It is the largest and the most revered among the Panch Badri. Badrinath is a land of myriad legends, each one only adding to the glory of this place. Along with these legends, the snowy mountain peaks, gracefully flowing Alaknanda River and incredible landscapes create the perfect background to facilitate a spiritual connection.
KEDARNATH – Kedarnath is located on the Garhwal Himalayan range near the Mandakini River. Here Lord Shiva is worshipped as Kedarnath, the ‘Lord of Kedar Khand’. The temple is believed to have been built by Pandavas. Kedarnath is situated at an altitude of 3586 meters, in the lap of the majestic mountain peaks and near the head of river Mandakini, Kedarnath range stands one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. The travel and tourism scope here is strengthened by factors like natural beauty and religious zest.

- Gangotri Dham: The Gangotri Shrine opens on the auspicious day of Akshaya Tritiya.
- Kedarnath Dham: The opening of the Kapat of Kedarnath shrine is decided by temple committee on the day of Maha Shivratri.
- Badrinath Dham: Badrinath shrine the Kapat opening date is decided on the occasion of Basant Panchami by head priest each year.
Day – 1st – Rishikesh to Barkot (Approx 177 km. drive) –
- Char Dham journey will starts after morning breakfast from Rishikesh.
- We will go to barkot via kampty fall mussorrie with spend some time at the kampty fall, it’s depend on time.
- On arrival in barkot take rest, excursion, sightseeing & dinner.
- A little bit planning for next destination.
Day – 2nd – Barkot to Yamunotri & back (Appox 100 km. drive & 11 km. trek)-
- After breakfast we will drive to yamunotri.
- After approx 50 km drive us will trekking 5.5 km begin from Janki Chatti which is the first Pahad Yatra of Yamunotri.
- The trek passes through lush green valley, a profusion of conifers, rhododendrons, cacti and several species of Himalayan shrubs.
- If you not able to trek, you can hire a doli or a horse, which is not include in package cost.
- On arrival by afternoon in Yamunotri take holy dip in Yamuna River/Kund and perform Pooja.
- Return to barkot by drive & trek.
Day – 3rd – Barkot to Harshil (Approx 165 km. drive)-
- After breakfast will check-out from hotel/guest house and start journey for next destination “Harshil”.
- Harshil is considered to be one of the hidden jewels of the Himalayas.
- It is situated on the Banks of river Bhagirathi and is surrounded by Garhwal Himalayas on all sides.
- Overnight stay at hotel/guest house.
Day – 4th – Harshil – Gangotari – Uttarakashi (approx 165 km. drive)

- After breakfast will check-out from hotel/guest house and start journey for next “DHAM”.
- Nestled in the magnificent Garhwal Himalayas, Gangotri is set at an altitude of 3048 mts.
- At Gangotri take a holy dip in the river Ganga, It’s also called Bhagirathi at its origin.
- After performing Pooja afternoon after drive back to Uttarkashi.
- Uttarakashi also called “Ngri of Kashi Vishwanath”.
- Uttarkashi is situated on the banks of river Bhagirathi and is famous for its historical monuments, Temples & Ashrams.
- Dinner & Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.
Day – 5th – Uttarakashi to Phata/Rampur/Sitapur/Sonprayag (approx 200 km. drive)–
- After breakfast will check-out from hotel/guest house and start journey for next destination.
- We reach guptkashi/Rampur/sitapur then rest of the day free to explore these towns.
- After we plan for “Kedarnath Dham” darshan and vernioght stay at sonprayag.
Day – 6th – Sonprayag to Kedarnath-
- Early morning after breakfast we will check-out from hotel/guest house.
- We will trek approx 18 km begin.
- Tour members should carry personal medicines, heavy woolen, toiletries and clothes for an overnight halt at Kedarnath.
- If you not able to trek, you can hire a doli or a horse, which is not include in package cost.
- Kedarnath is located at an altitude of 3584 meters from sea level.
- Kedarnath houses one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva.
- Kedarnath, check-in into the hotel/guest house/camps.
- Take a part in Aarti & Kedarnath darshan.
- Overnight stay in kedarnath.
Day – 7th – Kedarnath to Phata/Sitapur –

- Early morning Kedarnath Darshan & after breakfast we will check-out from hotel/guest house.
- Return back to Phata/Sitapur according to 6th day itinerary.
- Night halt & dinner at Phata/Sitapur.
Day – 8th -Phata/Sitapur to Badrinath via Joshimath-

- After some rest and refreshments you are all set to go to Badrinath Temple for darshan in the evening. But first you have to go to Tapt Kund (Hot Spring), take bath and then go to the temple.

Day – 9th – Badrinath to Srinagar(G) via Rudraprayag and Karanprayag (approx 170 km . drive)-

- Early morning Kedarnath Darshan & after breakfast we will check-out from hotel/guest house.
- Visit Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, Charanpaduka, Bhim pul and the “Mukh” of the Saraswati River.
- Go for interesting sightseeing of Mana Village (the last village before the Tibetan border).
- Check in to your hotel in Srinagar and overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day – 10th –Srinagar(G) to Rishikesh via Devprayag-
- Early morning, after breakfast, you drive downhill to Rishikesh a spiritual city and the Yoga capital of the world via devprayag.
- Devprayag, is Sangam of Bhagirathi & Alaknanda River, after that these rivers known as “GANGA River”.
- On reaching Rishikesh our “CHAR DHAM YATRA” will be complete successfully.
- You will be transferred to the railway station/bus station in rishikesh for your onward journey.
- Pick & Drop from Rishikesh to Rishikesh.
- A/c & non A/c transport facility.
